Order of the Pink Moon

In the dark, before all forms, before the wind, before the breath of the word, there was the womb. In this womb, it had no mother. Yet it dreamed, and that dream was of itself. It opened, and from this introitus, the Goddess was born as her own Daughter and as her own All Mother. And as she bore herself, the amniotic sac burst, spilling forth the first waterfall, and from that waterfall, rivers to oceans. The universe was wet, bloody, without form. From this realization, the All Mother sculpted land from the vernix caseosa that covered herself and her own self-creation. This was to be called: Terra Firma.

As ground grew from ureteral secretion, the afterbirth formed seven spheres that orbited her body. The first sphere, the lesser light, was Luna. Secondly, Mercury, the divine androgyne. Thirdly, Venus, the chosen daughter of beauty and change. Fourthly, the Sun, which brought about clarity and sunshowers. The fifth sphere was Mars, the beating war drum of the All Mother's universe. Sixth was Jupiter, in all of her menstruation and intelligence. And lastly, Saturn, the jewel-encrusted crown that sat at the top of the All Mother's divine body.
